My family and I went to this place for lunch. Got the Chicken Waffles. Tasted good, but the waffles could be softer and less dense. 25 dollars from memory.I ordered Eggs on Toast for my son. Standard fare, but well made. 14 dollars from memory. The coffee from this place tasted good. I think it was 4.50 for a small cup. The large up or Regular is large

Food and service was great. Just found it to be a bit squishy on the table we were sat on and had staff and patrons bumping into my chair every 5 minutes which was a bit frustrating.

This place is beautiful, not only is the atmosphere great but the food as well. Ordered the chicken and waffles which was delicious! Chicken cooked perfectly with great flavour and a perfect crunch. The contrast of the sweet and savoury paired perfectly on the plate. Only advice is less honey as my plate was drowning in it and it can get overwhelming. Also ordered the pancakes and they weren’t as great as the chicken but still soft, fluffy and flavourful. The strawberry drink was great but the hot chocolate was cold and flavourless which was the only disappointment. Besides that I would highly recommend this place, the prices were reasonable and the place was quite appealing to the eye, definitely will be returning.

Visited SoHo Lane in Mt Lawley for brunch on a whim. We are rarely up that way, and I'm so glad we did. I had the best Chilli Chorizo Scrambled Eggs I've ever had! Apparently it's a new dish they've just added and it was downright delicious! Talk about a flavour kick. It was one of those rare times I didn't feel the need to reach for the salt and pepper, or wish for X, Y or Z to be added. It was perfect. From the flavour and texture, right down to the fresh sourdough bread (perfectly toasted and pre-buttered) and just melted in my mouth. I really wasn't expecting such a scrumptiously delicious dish, so what a delightful discovery. So flavoursome. Coffee was also good. Service was excellent too. Although it was packed at 12pm when we arrived. But they still found us a seat outside (with a basket of woolly blankies and throws available if you need some extra insulation from the cold). By 1pm it was much less crowded. Highly recommend a visit - if only for this particular dish.

Sweet pastel pink interior and generous serves at this café. Had the huge chicken burger which was yum (in a busy late brunch session they advised they’d sadly run out of shoestring fries so gave me ‘waffle fries’ instead… not at all upset over that!). I like a bit of heat but asked for the hot sauce on the side instead of in the burger & am glad (too hot for me) - asked for some aioli instead & that worked a treat. Others thoroughly enjoyed their ‘chicken & waffles’ and the pancakes, which looked great. The OJ here isn’t made on site, but still tastes fresh squeezed (best bottled one I’ve had in ages). Note it was very hard to hear when busy (like most cafes).

We ordered pancake & chili chorizo which i think its on the new menu as what they have posted on Instagram. The chili chorizo was ok and has a decent portion but its not seasoned well coz its too BLAND.The pancake has enough portion size but its too DRY inside, the batter is too thick. Its too dry to eat. My husband didn’t finish the 3 stack of it, he just ate 1 and half.We asked the old lady for the maple syrup but she just ignored us thats how my husband went straightly to the kitchen and ask the chef for it.Maybe we’re just expecting too much on this cafe. We planned to visit this for 2 weeks and we’re just disappointed.Plating was good though, attractive but the taste is naaah. So my ratings are:Staff: 7/10Food: 5/10Place: 9/10Sorry but I will not recommend this place to my colleagues.

The place has a nice decor and staff is very friendly. Have nice brunch options with handy vegetarian ones on the menu. Tried the avo smash - was different but good

Very smooth and caramel tasting skim milk large flat white with an excellent temperature.Had the chicken burger, crispy with mild chilli bite in a mildly toasted Broche bun with excellent fried shoe string chips - hardly any residual of fat on the plate. Nothing left on the plate.Would thoroughly recommend this place! I’ll be back and hopefully next time I’ll get to have the continental roll - they ran out!

Great spot in Mt Lawley. Service was impeccable. The green tea (or earl grey?) in the peach tea was overpowering. The salmon “Benny your way” was good, not great. But the dinner style pancakes were to die for. Will definitely go back to try the French toast.
